SUMMARY:The Stories We Keep
DESCRIPTION:Bring an object that matters to you and spend an afternoon exploring its story through writing\, reflection\, and conversation. \n\n\n\n\nBring a meaningful object. Leave with a story. \nThe Stories We Keep is a guided writing and storytelling workshop about the memories\, people\, places\, and moments held within the objects we keep. \nFor this workshop\, you’ll be invited to bring one meaningful object from home and use it as a starting point for writing and reflection. Led by a former archaeologist\, the workshop draws on archaeology-informed approaches to explore the stories\, memories\, and meaning we attach to the things we keep. Through a series of prompts\, exercises\, and conversation\, we’ll explore the story behind your object and the memories connected to it. \nNo previous writing experience is needed. You don’t need to consider yourself a writer. Just bring an object that means something to you and an openness to see where its story takes you. Sharing your object’s story is encouraged\, but not mandatory for the experience. \nWhat to Expect \n• A relaxed\, small-group writing workshop \n• Guided prompts and writing exercises inspired by archaeology and personal storytelling \n• Workbook\, writing materials\, object description card\, and photograph will be provided. \n• Time to reflect\, write\, and share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with \n• Conversation about memory\, objects\, and the stories we attach to the things we keep \n• A chance to leave with new writing about an object that matters to you \nWhat to Bring \nOne meaningful object to write about. \nIt can be anything: a piece of jewellery\, an old photograph\, a childhood toy\, a handwritten note\, a souvenir\, a trinket\, a tool\, a book\, or something completely ordinary that holds a special memory. \nThe object does not need to be valuable or old. What matters is the story it carries for you. \nPlease bring an object that you can comfortably carry with you and have with you throughout the workshop. \nA personalized workbook will be provided for you to write in\, as well as pencils and pens. \nWho Is It For? \nStories We Keep is for anyone interested in personal storytelling\, memory\, objects\, and creative writing. Whether you already love to write or haven’t picked up a pen in years\, the workshop is designed to meet you where you are. \nCome curious\, come nostalgic\, come with an object and a story you haven’t quite put into words yet.

SUMMARY:Ed Byrne: No Dramas
DESCRIPTION:One of the biggest names in comedy\, Ed Byrne\, returns with a brand-new show and absolutely No Dramas as he hits the road in 2027. \nIn his last show\, Ed delved deep into his most personal material\, looking at how humour is defined by Tragedy Plus Time. It was also his most successful\, named Best Reviewed Show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023 and going on to tour for almost two years to sell-out crowds\, often returning to a venue to play a second or even third time. \nReturning to what he does best – finding the funny in anything and everything\, Ed just wants to live a life free of hassles or drama. He feels he’s earned it\, but the world has other plans for him. Come\, hear the conquistador of petty gripes air his grievances with a world hell bent on irritating the bejeezus out of us all and\, who knows\, perhaps it will make you feel better about your own bouts of impotent rage. \nA renowned comedian/presenter and actor\, Ed’s TV career is now in its third decade and he has regularly appeared on the likes of QI\, Mock The Week and its recent reboot on TLC\, Alan Davies As Yet Untitled\, The Pilgrimage\, Dara and Ed’s Road to Mandalay\, Dara & Ed’s Big Adventure\, The Graham Norton Show and Have I Got News For You\, as well as hosting Live At The Apollo and Comic Relief Bake Off. He’s been a contestant on BBC One’s Celebrity Best Home Cook (where he made it to show 5 out of 8 – not bad!) and Celebrity Bridge of Lies and Channel 5’s Celebrity Puzzling\, and he has also won (yes\, won!) celebrity versions of both The Chase and Pointless! He can often be heard on the radio and most recently guested on Frank Skinner’s One Person Found This Helpful and Chris McCausland’s You Heard It Here First\, both on Radio 4. He is also set to perform his ‘best of’ show\, The Story So Far\, in Norway\, Finland\, Iceland and Denmark this summer. \n  \nKnown for his passion for the outdoors (hill walking and mountaineering are major hobbies)\, Ed can be seen turning his presenting skills to factual broadcasting in BBC Two’s Volcano Live\, World’s Most Dangerous Roads (where he spent two weeks driving through Siberia) and Into The Wild with Gordon Buchanan.
