Local charity Children of Adam has organised this sponsored walk to honour the 30-year-old sports star, who sadly died at his home in Netherton last week.
The walk will be held on August 8, where women taking part will walk from Grange Park in Netherton to Ferry Meadows and back.
The charity has invited every walker to donate £5, following which proceeds raised will go to Yemen, to help with the humanitarian crisis.
People taking part are asked to follow social distancing guidelines as the one metre-plus rule will be implemented.
Meanwhile, tributes continue to pour in for Peterborough sports star Kasim, who people have called ‘a great friend’, ‘a positive mentor’ and ‘a wonderful human being.’
A Justgiving page has also been set up for anyone who would like to contribute.
We are saddened to hear about the death of former youth coach, Kasim Ikhlaq.
An avid sportsman who volunteered his time to develop our young players for which the club and wider community will be indebted.
Sending love to family and friends of Kasim during this difficult time. pic.twitter.com/cX1xX0iwCm

Devastated to hear the very sad news that Qasim Ikhlaq passed away last night in his sleep. A great young cricketer and lovely lad lost to us at the age of just 28. Heart broken and deepest condolences to Asif and the rest of his family. Rest in Peace my friend pic.twitter.com/9gzxMOadhj
