Boating & Cruises in Peterborough

The River Nene is accessed from the Middle Level at Peterborough, an ancient city at the edge of the fens, used for Boating & Cruises.
Close by is the Peterborough Ferry Meadows Park. Upstream from Peterborough the river has a number many interesting towns and villages on the way to Northampton.

The tenth longest river in the UK, the River Nene connects The Fens with the rest of the canal network where it meets the Northampton Arm of the Grand Union Canal. Moor at Ferry Meadows Country Park to have a go at water sports, or take the family into Peterborough to visit the Cathedral, Queensgate Shopping Centre, Key Theatre and the Nene Valley Railway.
